Mentoring MeetUp

And here we are...the heart and soul of MentorCONNECT starts now. Here is where you meet others who know what it is like to choose recovery, who are seeking a connection of mutual encouragement and empowerment to reclaim a life that is FREE of eating disorders!

Note About Available Mentors
All of the mentors who are currently accepting new mentees are listed below. While you may encounter other mentors through your interactions on the Forums, these mentors have let us know that they are full and that is why their names do not appear on the list below. Additionally, please do not contact a member of the MC Leadership Team to serve as your mentor - while we are honored to guide and direct the community as a whole, because of this we do not have availability to take on new mentees at this time.

Orientation
Please review the appropriate orientation & training materials before beginning to seek a match.

Making A Mentoring Match
Once you have reviewed the guidelines and the basic overview of how MentorCONNECT works, all that is left is to choose a mentor! (HINT: Having trouble deciding what to write in your email? Use this SAMPLE INTRODUCTION LETTER to make an easy introduction!)

NOTE: The Importance of Making Your Own Mentoring Match
While we are happy to help with introductions if the need arises, we have found that those mentors and mentees who match directly make stronger connections and report a higher degree of satisfaction with their mentoring match. For this reason, we strongly encourage all of our mentee members to contact the mentor you are interested in working with directly.

Updating Our Records
Please remember to send an email to mc@key-to-life.com when you have made a successful match so we can remove you from the waiting list.
