Getting Started

The best way to start to participating in MentorCONNECT is to - you guessed it - just do it!

Three Simple Steps to GETTING STARTED:

Step One
: Review the details of becoming a MC Member HERE

Step Two: Fill out the membership application that is right for you (you can choose "Mentor", "Mentee", or "General Support") and submit for approval. In your application, which is STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, you will let the MC Leadership Team know a little bit more about you, where you are in your recovery, and what you type of support you are seeking. In the "About Me" section of your application, be sure include any details you would like a potential mentor or mentee to know. Be aware that certain parts of the form are considered "required" information so that we can ensure the best possible matching opportunities for all members.

Step Three: Once you have joined, it is time to start connecting! We realize it can be scary to contact someone about mentoring or being mentored - this is where our Sample Introduction Letter might help. And of course, if you have specific questions, you can always email us!
